The power of Jesus’s resurrection extends beyond religious doctrine. It influences how people live, make decisions, and face challenges. Here are some ways it impacts daily life:
Hope in difficult times: Believers find comfort in knowing that suffering and death are not permanent.
Moral guidance: The resurrection encourages living a life of integrity, kindness, and compassion.
Community and fellowship: It fosters a sense of belonging among believers who share this faith.
Motivation for service: Inspired by Jesus’s sacrifice and victory, many dedicate themselves to helping others.
By embracing the resurrection’s power, individuals can experience a renewed sense of purpose and resilience.

What does the Bible say about the resurrection of Jesus?
The Bible provides detailed accounts of Jesus’s resurrection, emphasizing its importance and authenticity. Several key passages highlight this event:
Matthew 28:5-6: The angel tells the women at the tomb, "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."
Luke 24:6-7: Jesus’s resurrection is described as fulfillment of prophecy and proof of His divine nature.
John 11:25: Jesus declares, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die."
These scriptures affirm that the resurrection is central to Christian belief. They also provide reassurance that Jesus’s promises are true and reliable.
To accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can do this right now—simply and sincerely:
Believe that Jesus is God’s Son, that He died for your sins, and rose again.
Turn to Him (repent)—tell Him you want to leave sin behind and follow Him.
Receive Him—invite Jesus to lead your life as Lord.
Confess it—tell God and then tell someone you trust.
You can pray something like this (in your own words is fine):
“Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me of my sins, come into my life, and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me follow You. Amen.”
If you prayed and asked Jesus into your life you have made the most significant decision you will ever make.
I can say this confidently because God heard my prayer and Jesus saved my life. I would not be here today if it wasn't for Him. His unwavering love is real. Jesus hears and sees us and His Holy Spirit guides us. Our Heavenly Father is the creator of the universe and anything we ask will be received.
Welcome to the Kingdom.
Luke 12:32 — “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Romans 8:16–17 — “The Spirit himself bears witness… that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ…”
Galatians 4:6–7 — “Because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts… So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.”
John 10:27–28 — “My sheep hear my voice… and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish…”
1 Peter 1:3–4 — “…an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”
Revelation 21:7 — “The one who conquers will have this inheritance, and I will be his God and he will be my son.”
Trusting God with all your heart:
Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) — “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Ask and you shall receive:
Matthew 7:7–8 (KJV) — “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth…”
John 14:13–14 (KJV): “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do… If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
John 16:23–24 (KJV): “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you… ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”
After encountering the resurrected Jesus, the disciples’ perspective changed completely—from fear and confusion to faith and bold conviction. What had seemed like a tragic ending became undeniable proof that Jesus is truly Lord and that His promises are trustworthy. Seeing Him alive turned their sorrow into joy, strengthened their understanding of Scripture, and confirmed that God’s kingdom is real and victorious over sin and death. In the same way, when you encounter the risen Jesus, He can turn your doubt into faith, your fear into courage, and your life into a testimony of His power and hope. Call on Him today—ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and choose to follow Him with your whole heart.
